Goodbye 07

2007:

I can't say I'm sorry to see you go. No hard feelings, it's just time to move on. We've had our ups and downs. But that's nothing unusual. As one door closes another always opens. It's just that you've been a revolving door at times. I've learned a lot from you so I'm taking those lessons with me. I'm leaving behind some things too. Mainly baggage that doesn't need to be carried as I move forward. Yes, I'm moving forward, moving along and letting go of what could potentially drag me down. But nothing against you personally, please believe. We knew our time was short anyway. We knew one day we'd have to part. And it's not with sadness on my end either. So with one foot out the door I'm saying goodbye 2007, don't fret I'll look back from time to time, only to make sure I'm not having any repeat performances. Got to keep it moving in 08.
